'Finding Nemo' Foreshadows too!

Yes, foreshadowing is a literary device. However, it does not mean that foreshadowing only happens in the written text!

You will watch a clip from 'Finding Nemo' to see an example.

Nemo & Gills

This scene takes place when Nemo is placed in an aquarium at a dentist's office. Gills, the leader of the Tank Gang, thought of a way for Nemo to escape: they would jam the water filter so the dentist will have to remove the fishes while the tank gets cleaned.

However, the dentist installs a laser filter which cleans the tank while the fish are sleeping.

Take note of what happens the next day before Darla comes to the clinic on your worksheet.
